I think the TR2 had suicide doors but the TR3 was downgraded to "normal" doors so this looks like a TR2 to me.

This a TR2 according to Peter Hingston's Guiide to Buying a Classic British Sports Car.

There was something with the doors but not this! The earliest examples of the TR2 had "long" doors with no visible sill under them. Most of the TR2 and all of TR3 (and TR3a and TR3b) subsequently had short doors.
A Long Door TR2 supposedly is worth more than the later examples. A bit like the "flat floor" E-types I guess. _________________ a car stops being fun when it becomes an investment |
