I gather that just 314 SS100s were produced so that survival rate is very good |

That does sound like a very good survival rate. Look at many pre-war cars mass produced in tens of thousands and often there are very few survivors. Take the pre-war Minx, as I recall from my time in the Hillman club there are only 10-20 survivors from each production year 33-40. When you think there well over 100,000 cars produced the survival rate is terrible. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |
