It's not often you see these nowadays.

Someone must preserve this for posterity alone.
A few inside photos would have been nice to see but I cannot remember seeing the estate version.

The F-registration with preceeding numbers was an Essex issue from Feb 1957 to Apr 1958, so that is almost certainly the car's original number.

Has some recent history.

To be sold Wednesday 14th March 2018- 1957 Morris Isis For Sale by Auction
1957 Morris Isis Series II - Automatic Saloon. Registration no. 8100F. 4-Cylinder 2.639cc engine. Finished in grey / blue two-tone. This 'barn find' Morris requires restoration, having been off the road - garaged since 1994 and believed to have been in the current ownership since 1963. We are awaiting confirmation of any accompanying documentation, however it lists on the DVLA website. Sold strictly as viewed Estimate £1,000 - £1,500

Essex was the last mainland county to continue allocating non suffix registration numbers right up to the middle of 1965 when the then government decreed that suffix numbers became compulsory.

The Scilly Isles continued with *CY non suffix numbers until CY was allocated to Swansea.
