I could have bought a low milage 3 litre RHD imported from Guernsey but I had been spoilt by the manual / overdrive with free wheel and this one was automatic and although very nice, I somehow imagined a manual would come along. It never did. Sad

I much prefer the original Farina styling with the fins but it has to be said the 4 litre is quieter and goes better.

Why change this view???

Exactly. I also like the way the thin rimmed steering wheel is the only thing visible sticking out above the body through the windows. Usually there are complicated dashboards and head rests visible.
I remember the huge steering wheel is set quite high by the way, shorter people in my car preferred to see forward through the wheel instead of over it. Very Happy

Indeed so. My Father in Law was a very short chap and he used to look through the wheel. (I remember my own father cruelly taking the Micky). Of course Bob had the last laugh...he could afford a 3 litre Princess!! Laughing
