I have a copy of this on my Home Office wall. Just because I like it.
Rick posted this in Mystery Photos many years back ( 7+ ?).
Racing or Political Canvassing ? To date, I don't believe the make has had a positive ID. Date: 1920's. Location: Europe. ?
Why two flags and what short word is written on the bonnet ?
I would guess the man in the back is holding a megaphone and addressing the crowd.
With the helmet, goggles and cig. Looks a bit like Wolf Barnato 1895-1948
(Bentley Boy) . |

The car is a late 1920s Delage - probably a DISS model; the wording on the bonnet looks to end in I A, which suggests the language is Italian. _________________ in the garage: 1938 Talbot Ten Airline

Could the writing on the bonnet say EMIRA. It is a female name which in Latin means "worthy of merit". |
