i got some mk2 consul pedal rubbers from n/zealan and they came via normal postage, under £18 does not seem to incur customs charges, thankfully. |

Luckily the price of the item is very low and its used not new, that will keep the prices down.
I have a cost of $321nzd door to door on a 5 day delivery. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

I guess 7W grilles are so rare, that it comes down to how badly you want the correct grille I went through similar when I found a NOS steering wheel correct for the jolly green giant - in Australia.
£170 to ship the grille from NZ is probably not a bad deal, I doubt that the duty due at this end would be too steep (presumably based on the cost price + shipping combined).

The last 7W grille on the market in the UK sold at £1200!
This grille is an absolute bargain at $80nzd!!!!
Paying £170 to ship it is nothing when you consider the cost of buying them in the UK. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

The radiator I needed for my Jaguar was £1,500 and two months delay in the UK and $800 in the USA. I ordered from the USA and it was delivered by FedEx two days later. Even down to the tags it was perfect. Have no worries about ordering from abroad - but make sure the people supplying are genuine! |

Luckily I have had the part sourced from a Ford club, they have been very helpful. I still cant quite believe my luck at finding a grill after all these years.
They have updated me with photos, even of it packed in the crate ready to be collected. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |
