As a follow-up to a slightly controversial thread concerning speed of travel which I started a couple of months ago, you might want to look at the download on this page:
https://www.fiva.org/?p=8820&fbclid=IwAR0vijuC5C6VlULmxvAy5_jh5rV2gLJkElCsWvBkvI4yxOPLNJBW1RG_a_w
It's an advisory code of practise for owners of classic cars to follow. There's nothing there that we will not all be doing correctly already.

For some reason I cannot open the link? It allows me to access the page but it stays completely blank.
I wholly agree that responsible driving of our classic is key. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

At the foot of the page is a link to a PDF document of the guide in English, obviously you'll need to have Adobe Reader or similar installed to view this pdf document:

OK now and its all common sense which whilst most classic car owners may possess the general public is not so well endowed so even more care is required _________________ Rover P2

Do you carry all of this? Really?
- First aid box
- Reflective jackets
- Danger triangle
- Spare lamps and fuses
- A robust jack, wheel wrench, and most common other wren-
ches and tools
- Safety hammer (also called a ‘life hammer’)
- Fire extinguisher
- Powerful flashlight |

Yup, all except the safety hammer. As said earlier, common sense.
