Hi
Haven't seen one of these but it would fit in as something different in the Pedal Cars section of OCC.

I caught that episode yesterday by accident, I've not seen the programme before but I was quite taken with that gent's old car/buggy.

I tend to shy away from this type of program and I hadn't seen it before but I was very pleasantly surprised by the restoration work retaining the patina of age.

Agreed, I had visions of it being stripped right back then treated to a rattle can or two of fresh red paint. Fair do's to the guy who did the work.

Hi
Their general approach is to preserve patina. Though it may depend on proposed use after restoration.
The synopsis gives details of what each programme features, so you can have an idea whether it "floats your boat".
There are currently all but episode 1 of this 4th series available and episode 2 with a clockwork toy car (Jaguar XK) in it expires tomorrow.

Hi
A Grand Prix pedal car today, but this time it is a sandblast and respray/rechrome rather than oily rag.
