Hi. There should be a seam atop the guard and the guard should have a gap where it meets the pillar. The gutter on the front pillar seems more pronounced on the A3/3.5.
That is a large interior rear view mirror. Whether or not the curve of the screen follows the curve of the roof cannot be decided as the height of the camera alters that.
The two persons on the right are related _ their mouth to cheek joins came from the same factory.
First impression was it is not an A3, but what elae could it be?

Yes you're spot on, the two on the right are related. About the car, could it just be a different make entirely? The shapes look so similar to an Austin that I just assumed it had to be.

I'd have said A30/A35 Countryman too. The way the top edge of the door trails away from the straight edge of the gutter at its rearmost end, matches the Austins, same for the top external door hinge that's just in shot too.

A30s and early A35s had the inset door panels iirc.
