Whilst recently rooting at an auto jumble my son has found an old engine, he took a punt hoping it was a bike engine and after some research it turns out to be a 1934 Royal Enfield engine from a model A. He is very keen to build it as an original model A or use a period frame and bits all down to what he can find so if you have any bits or suitable period stuff let me know.
Like most 19 year olds he has lots of enthusiasm but little cash, but he is very handy and being an apprentice engineer he has access to a work shop so can fabricate parts.
The engine is missing its inlet manifold, carb, magneto and fly wheel for starters.
Then a small, matter of Frame wheels etc _________________ It will come in handy even if you never use it. |

Well strange things happen, whilst looking for bit we have fond some one who is giving up his restoration so my son now has an incomplete bike, looking for wheels, mudguards, any that will fit really as he just wants it up and showable in its original patina.
Its also missing the Mag thingy looks lie it will be modern CDI as the original would cost a fortune _________________ It will come in handy even if you never use it. |
