There were two out today - I got some photos of Tornado heading out towards Holyhead, but the card seems to be corrupted now. The Shrewsbury one was, I believe, 34046 Braunton. It's getting back to Crewe at around 9pm I think. |

We just took the kids out for a walk down one of our many local nature reserves, on the way back we passed a beautiful blue/black chrome rad Austin 10. It looked superb out in the sunshine. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

I loaned the owner of this machine a distributer from my old Dodge truck with the same Dodge flat head 6. It had been sitting "dead" in the woods for many years yet with gas down the carb and a new battery it started and after the smoked cleared it move under its own power.
pretty cool

Went to Abbey Hill Steam Rally near Yeovil today, loads of interesting vehicles there but sadly few cars, maybe 20-30 at a push.
Some very nice light commercials on show, I particularly liked a newly restored Bedford CA van and there was also a nice 400E Ford van. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

Hi
Saw the 'Stang atr Barton Aerodrome on BH Monday and noticed, today, that at least one taxi in Oldham has gone green.

Probably my best spotting day ever We were coming back from a short European break today, and as our coach pulled into the holding area for the Eurotunnel we parked next to a nondescript black 4x4 pulling a trailer containing no less than a Bedelia in scruffy but original looking condition. I have never seen one before and will probably never see one again, does anyone know the story behind it. The towcar had an English reg, so was it being imported? Unfortunately by the time I saw it, the coach was locked, with my camera inside it
Icing on the cake, when we stopped at Hopwood Services for a break, we pulled up next to an ex Harpers 1959 Guy LUF no 59 with Burlingham Seagull bodywork (reg 1293 RE) which made quite a contrast to a Neoplan Starliner BTW all four of Harper's Guy LUF coaches (fleet nos 57-60) have survived aftr 60 years, this must be something of a record. |

I visited Roger Bray Restorations near Exeter over the weekend and saw an amazing selection of early and extremely valuable Porsche’s
And then yesterday three WO Bentleys in a convoy crossing the A46 near Nailsworth.[/img] |

Nice early blue Porsche 911 just passed the chap on "North West Tonight" being interviewed about the possible re-opening of the railway line that passes Drax power station. And if that place hasn't got at least one sinister bloke with a beard and a white cat, they're doing something wrong. |
