Morning all,

I've long had a soft spot for this mighty old Humbers. My first job involved a rail journey into Manchester every morning, and one of the stops would see the train pull up outside a small minibus operator's premises. Behind their building sat two of this fabulous old Humbers, gradually deteriorating with one or two broken pieces of glass etc. One day I went to have a closer look, and was particularly taken not just with their presence, but also a small HMV radio that was built into the rear compartment of one car (or maybe both?), just beneath one of the small side windows.

It'd need a long garage though..!

Oily Rag? Keep as is?

For the money I think its a good investment, there is a restored one that popped up on ebay for 18k.

You need a big garage though!

What a wonderful car. Seems to be sold already.
Steering effort at parking speeds must be very high!
There is one over here in a pretty bad condition. Pity because if it had been better then maybe...

Maybe not? It had 3.5 turns lock to lock and a 45 foot turning circle.
The Super Snipe had 2.5 turns and a 40 foot 6 inch circle.
