Father and I took the usual trip to Spring Beaulieu today, got a couple of bits and pieces. Lots and lots of empty pitches which was not too good.

I went a few times when I lived in the south of England but it's too expensive now I'm in Derbyshire; fuel plus accommodation and food means that any 'bargain' I might find is no longer a bargain by the time I've brought it home. I also found that often prices tended to have a 'Beaulieu Tax' added to them by sellers.
