Wonder if they were put there before the garage was built and it was just luck the garage was built on top?

I cottage I once owned in a local village was built on an old burial site....constantly digging up human bones in the back garden.....one skull unearthed, no-one wanted to be bothered with, ended up in the green bin....that's the trouble with finding old bones....no-one in authority can be bothered, so what does one do with them?

Probably done by the builders when the estate was built, not wanting any problems or delays.
