I have just seen a beautiful car for sale, one that we have always sought after. We neither have the available space or cash, we could slim down some of the projects??

I always regret selling but in some cases if the 'other' vehicle were worth it would you do it?

Yes, I did that a while back in order to buy little Dodge. I still regret selling a couple of the projects that had to go, but little Dodge has seen a fair amount of use, so this makes up for moving on the project cars.

I might be tempted...but the new motor would need to be a fraction of the value of anything I'd sell.....doubtless I'd need the funds to rectify the new acquisition....

I'd like a Ford model Y, however....preferably a short rad....

I have broached the subject with the wife tonight, as has been the case over the years with everything like this, she has seen positives.

She would rather us not sell anything though, use some of our savings and treat it as an investment. That might be the way to look at it.

Good for you!
Problem is that for many cars there is no real upward trend....
But the positive is that when you are careful you will not loose money, and be able to enjoy your car (money). If it is in a savings deposits where is the fun?
