Hank, you have just reminded me of an earlier engine driven item. I had a 5cc control line aircraft model that I bought at a jumble sale as a boy. I still have the scar on my right index finger where the prop got me.

I have scars from that time also-
I asked a 10 year old kid to hold the stunt plane while I started it and told him how to let go when I signaled after I had the control lines in my hand.
Anyway just as it started he let go to put his hands on his ears and the 12 inch wooded prop climbed up my leg- of course I was wearing shorts at the time
I'm glad the engine stalled or I would not have my 3 kids.
I still have 5 deep scars to prove it
I think those engines spin up to 22,000 rpm
fun times
