A couple of interesting vehicles at the Corner House breakfast meet at Wrightington last Sunday.

The truck is a Ford.

The car is a 1909 Mawdslay, made in Coventry. It set off very vigorously down the road as the meet broke up.

Hi
That would be Maudslay, also a maker of bus and coach chassis,

and a petrol driven, railway, tram loco in 1902 or '04

I was just thinking that too - non-factory cab?

I am not familiar with UK assembled AA's. However I would guess that they were imported as ckd with the cab built locally by either the Ford factory or a private body building business- but in that era a few were still had their bodies built by the individual purchaser.
