G'day all, I'm new to the group so a little about me
I live in Warwick Queensland Australia, I'm a retired motor mechanic .
Iam restoring a Series 3 Hillman Estate of which I am the 2nd owner.
Has some rust in the usual spots. At the moment I am fitting a new floor pan which I purchase fron Ohio USA. (hand made)
I also have 1982 Fiat Bertone X19 Club use and 2 Datsun utes 1 daily user 1 under restoration and the family car a Magna Sports
Good to hear from other restorers. |

Hi
Welcome to the forum, we need to see some pictures of your collection, hehe
You could also start a thread in your restorations thread for your hillman estate.
Cheers

G,day all, thanks for the welcome.
Yes Dave I will post some pic's when I find out "HOW TO" and I think I will start a Thread for the restoration of Mrs Watson.
I call the Estate Mrs Watson as she was a wonderful lady and the first owner. I purchase the Estate in 1983 so I have been busy (I dont think) I was going to build a 1/3 scale Allchin steam tractor.
I have new hand made floor pans to fit shortly, it was a bit hot in the shed this weekend (38c) so I put it off.
The pans were made by Gerald Shetler of Kirtland OHIO and a nice job too.
Regards
Ian |
