well i have a hillman imp that i am restoring and wanted 100hp so made up a adapter plate and fitted a engine out of a pug 106 there is still a bit of body work to do but it is in real good shape hears a pic of the engine in the back

and another cheeky question... Wink What are your plans for the radiator?

Can you squeeze something in the rear or are you mounting it up front?

there is only one place a rad should be on a imp and that is up front
will stick up some more pics soon , i would like to change the crown wheel and pinon to give me a beter finile drive .and that would make every gear longer , going to run this imp with a ecu ,injectors ,ect so it will
be a efi imp , and if i want more power i may turbo it , i all ready have a turbo and intercooler and pipes sitting Laughing and could be looking at 200hp
with 720kg about 300hp per ton Cool its would fly with that

Yup! Having had experience of two overheating Imps and a Ginetta G15 (with front rad.) that was over cooled that makes total sense. Sounds an interesting project.
