Have recently retired and moved to West Yorkshire.
Like many folk I smile at the thought that cars we drove are now considered classics. We loved 'em when they were just cars.
I've had Minors, 2cv's a Honda S800, Hillman Hunters and Minx's, Mini's ( My BMC workshop manual ends on Ebay today........... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260258412683&_trksid=p3907.m32&_trkparms=tab%3DSelling ) even a Throbbin' Robin.
My as yet unrequited love was a Vitesse/Herald, never took the plunge.......sigh.
Have rooted you guys out as my desires have turned back to bloodied knuckles and rusty bits in me eye.
Speak to you soon.

Hi Rick, I would no longer fit in a "real" mini and I need to use the car as my only transport. It started with desiring a convertible; To be honest I've never lived anywhere before where a rag top wouldn't be vandalised.
That's how my thought processes started. 30 years ago as soon as I got divorced I bought a Midget and a big bike. I'm back happily married and hoping to keep the wife and the car Wink
I've looked recently at all sorts of dropheads and my rust compass keeps pointing towards a Triumph, although, once I've bimbled through this forum me needle might swing in another direction.
I don't have any great affinity towards any company which I see as the beauty of the search.
