Hi Jon.... The showmans trailer may be a Jessee Pollit.

The corner carvings on a pollit are usually a horse design. Early wheels had solid rubber tires.

Hi

Definateley worth a thread! I would like to see the pics.

Not sure of the frame, is the one repairable, in that finding another rough one, or a simmilar frame with similar section profile, and welding in new pieces?

Cheers

Dave

Hi Dave,
Unfortunately it`s beyond repair, we have just had a quote to have a new one made ....Ouch!
I guess we will have to bite the bullet etc.
When I get a bit more time I will start the thread and post some pics and details.

Hello and sorry for the lack of posts but I have been fairly busy!
The fordson is now stripped down to just the chassis which has been shotblasted and primed, hopefuly it can be topcoated soon so the re-build can commence.
I will upload a few pics in the next few days, would it be best for me to start a new thread elswhere or carry on here?

Hi Jon, ooo look forward to seeing the pics, a new thread would be ideal, either in the "Your Cars, Restoration Projects & Workshop updates" category
