I am not sure this should be here but I am sure Rick will move it if not;
Has anyone got a Dremel?
I have spent the last 10yrs bemoaning them saying they are as much use as a chocolate teapot, they are only a gadget.
My dear wife bought me one as a gift at Xmas gone, I have used it so many times, it has got me out of so many sticky problems getting into cramped areas I thought I should say sorry to the good people of Dremel _________________ www.nikgreene.com www.falseaccusationsbook.com www.mygoddess.co.uk

Hi Greeney,
Yes I too have a Dremel, as I am a keen Modelmaker, I find it very useful, especially with all the different attachments ....TOOLS, TOOLS, I MUST HAVE TOOLS

Yes, I'm sort of impressed too. Not with a Dremel but a cheap copy that cost me something like £8. It claimed 11k rpm or something like that, so it does actually cut like an angle grinder. I bought it to enlarge the bolt holes in my exhaust pipe flanges without removing them from the car and it worked a treat after me getting totally fed up with using a rat tailed file in a confined space. The only down side was that the tiny little stone burrs disappear before your very eyes.

Yes I have that one too, as a set, it came with about 100 "pieces" and an engraver, I think now it is an invaluable tool for a restorer, it does so much of the small stuff where you cant get a 4" grinder in or even for shaping you would normally have to do with a file
Its a cool tool _________________ www.nikgreene.com www.falseaccusationsbook.com www.mygoddess.co.uk
