I do love the French sometimes;
Someone popped in today, never met him before but comes from the local town, like most people he had "heard" I was a car fanatic and thought I would like something he found in a garage, it was a large pin board full of old Michelin tyre pressure spec charts usually found on a garage wall the earliest dated back to 1951 and the youngest 1963.
he wanted no money and drove 10klm just to give them to me!!
2 day ago another local guy pulled on the front drive with a truck full of original Citroen parts from the 50s and 60s still in the bags, included were enamel signs, a NOS traction grill never put on a car and other usable or sellable stuff, as he was emptying an old Citroen garage, charged me 200€

Greeney - if one of your very generous neighbours drops one of these off at your house I'd be more than happy to take it off your hands! Wink

Its a Delahaye Jim, one of my favourite French designs of all time.

I don't know how much experience you have with French vehicles in the US, however they are notoriously quirky when it comes down to their engineering. I've never been under the hood of one of these, but I'd put money on it there'll be some weird mechanical bits under the skin.

Greeney is going to have his hands full, but I'm sure with him living in France he'll be well used to working on France's unique solutions to motoring. Cool

Scotty.
