Fancy changing some of your engine's design parameters? See the effects of your changes in the Lotus freeware simulation..

The freeware only allows one cylinder but you can just multiply the numbers by your own cylinder number even if that is an over simplification.
I thought I'd try entering my data to see the effects of different valve timing.
You can read why here http://www.oldclassiccar.co.uk/forum/phpbb/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=5887&start=105
I tried 16,56,56,16 which should be the timing for my engine then 10,50,50,10 which is what I have been running with. The simulation does show the increased torque and reduced power of the second timing but the effect is less than I expection so I then tried a more extreme example of 0,30,30,0. _________________ http://www.nostalgiatech.co.uk
