I've been asked by a very good friend to consider "repairing" his E-Type to a reliable day to day state. He has no interest in paint and chrome but wants it to drive well and be on the button.I run a Land Rover garage and its been a long time,(I welded a boot floor into it 20 yrs ago.)since I did anything serious with older cars.
What I'm after is ideas and recommendations for modern sensible upgrades,(thinking brakes/suspension mainly) and decent suppliers that sell decent kit rather than a good story.
Sorry if this has all been done before but I'd like to see it running again and not have to turn my phone off each time it goes out ! |

Jon,
I suggest you join this http://forums.jag-lovers.org/index.php3
There's a forum dedicated to E-types with a full search facility for upgrades.
