Hi there !

Next thing I need to have is a locking petrol cap for my A30 Austin.

The Owners club suggested Bull Motif spares , but they only have one for an A35 and when I asked they didn't seem to know if it would fit the A30 ?????

I have found that petrol caps seem to be vehicle specific so any ideas ??

Thanks

I'm fairly sure the A35 and A30 had the same filler neck - unless your's is a very early A30, which has the filler neck in the back wing, rather than in the rear panel near the lights? if it is an early model, called an AS3, then that *may* be different.

Are there any after-market springs that go down into the filler neck, which taper down...to prevent a siphon hose from being inserted?

but I haven't come across such a system over here !

Anyway I have taken the bull (motif) by the horns as it were and ordered their A35 petrol cap - just hope it fits ! Confused
