I did a restoration of a Reliant Scimitar first - complete body off rebuild and respray. I have a soft spot for Reliant and Triumph Herald.

Currently in the stable i have:
- Triumph herald Vitess 2L MK1 1968
- Triumph Herald 1200 saloon 1969
- Reliant Regal Mk2 1955 aluminium body 2 off
- Reliant Rialto hatch 1988
- Reliant Rialto estate 1989

I know everyone laughs at a 3 wheeler but they are great fun to drive and were an excellent motor. The early alu Regals are lovely and it's a shame they went over to fibreglass.

Always keen to meet up with anyone in suffolk.

Welcome to the forum Jesse!

I'm a bit further south than you, in Southend - but there are a lot of members in Suffolk, Norfolk and North Essex.
Check out the topic 'OLDCLASSICCAR MEET' under Show News. You would be more than welcome to come along to Takeley in July to meet us all! Very Happy

I would love to hear more about your cars as well, how about introducing them in their own thread?

Thanks for the welcome... i've had a look at that thread. Trouble is for me - i have to cope with my elderly mother with Alzheimer's so i can't leave her for too long.

As for the Scimitar... it had to go. The others are work in progress! usual story not enough time - but the heart is willing.
