Hi All
I have a rare 1937 Lincoln zephyr V12 a pretty sound vehicle,
BUT needs a complete resto... I have trolled through the internet, and need HELP Smile

If anybody out there is a keen enthusiast, and would like a project they can do, AND GET PAID, please email me paul@custommotorshow.co.uk

I have a donor BMW 750iL complete , I would like to use all the running gear.. V12 engine, wire loom, TV, SAT NAV, etc etc etc. My dream idea is to have the ORIGINAL LOOK , and modern running gear...

I'm not mega rich, so looking for somebody that's got passion, and will work on a part time basis.. I don't know how to post pics on here, so if you need any email me

Car is located in FLEET hampshire, I can transport to anywhere in country

regards

paul

LOL.. I know.. I know its seems a hard thing to do, with so many devoted 'original' classic peps on here... BUT I really want a car I can drive all over europe, and not have to worry... don't wish to upset the apple cart... just have a dream of what I want, and fully appreciate it may go against the grain with a few... I will email pics of a car that caught my interest, and you will see why I like the idea

and what my Z could look like, with a little hard work...

thanks for your input

regards

paul

If memory serves me correctly the Spong family are into Lincolns in a big way - perhaps trying to contact them will be a useful route.

My personal opinion is , it doesn't matter wether its original or modified, standard or customised, if it gives pleasure to the owner and others, and is driven as oppossed to being hidden away or scrapped, then what more can we ask for. I wish you success and look forward to regular updates on the work.

I'm really pleased I joined this forum, you guys are very helpful.
Thanks for all the info thus far.. I will contact Colin Spong.. I didn't realise there was a UK Lincoln Zephyr owners club, .. just shows you how little knowledge I have of this industry !.. I wonder how many Z's are in UK...

Thanks you.. Victor_Scotty_Scott Buds_BrianM_ and of course Rick... you guys have been great !..

lets hope I get the Z done, and I can keep u guys updated with the progress

regards

What a sensational looking car.
Boyd Coddington could never have dreamt of a shape more exotic or pleasing to the eye!
