Hi folks, I am renovating an old trailer left to me by my father. I know it must be 30+ years old (but basically sound) and ideal for picking up old bikes, spares etc. for my projects.
I wanted to get a spare wheel for it but I am unble to identify where the chassis/wheels come from?
My dad had told me it was an old mini chassis, but it isn't.
It is the front axle (steerable hubs) off something old. The hubs have independent coil spring susension (in a traingular shape metal frame affair).
The wheels are 10" rims, but with 3" PCD's??
I have checked obvious old small cars I can think of (mini. reliant kitten, imp, etc), but they all appear to have 4" PCD's.
Any ideas? I would be grateful if anyone has?

Best to post a couple of pics of wheel and suspension, someone might recognise them.

I don't know what I am doing wrong, I have spent ages carefully following the instructions but I can not get this site to get my pictures from photobucket? I am close to going out into the garage for a lump hammer!
All I can think to do is put the link to my 'album' of four pictures on photobucket, and hope folk don't mind a slight diversion to look at them there?
The link is http://s853.photobucket.com/albums/ab92/timbormn/
my username and password are the same - timbormn

Sorry about that, I have tried endlessly!
thanks in anticipation

Tim, when you place your cursor on a picture in Photobucket, a drop-down appears below the picture, with a list of four possible choices. Go to the bottom one, 'IMG Code', click on it to highlight the code, then copy that code. (Right click and 'Copy', or Control + C). Then paste the code into your message.
