I agree, what is the use of owning a classic caravan if you are not going to use it for the purpose it was built for. I know a lot of classic owners who use a modern van for holidays, our's are used as they were designed for holidays and rallies. Steve Smile

its the start of a busy two weeks for me and the famliy , off to Wales in the morning towing a 1936 Eccles model 35, dropping this off at a friends house on route, and then moving on to our 1955 cheltnham stag that we left on site in Borth ,wales, a week and a half ago,
where we are having a week of sun, sand, wind, and rain ha!
then its back for the bank holiday weekend,
load up my new toy, a 1933 Whinchester lightweight four and off to stapleford miniature railway open weekend ,theres over 12 classic vans going so it should be a laugh Very Happy

I'll look forward to meeting you at Stapleford, we're taking the wifes baby, her Cheltenham Nyala. Now are you the person I'm thinking off that went to Elvaston? Steve

How I wish for a workshop, mine consists of a 8ft converted shed and a long driveway. I did Elvaston as public camping just to give a Thomson Glennevis a try out. Steve
