My 1968 Cheltenham was suffering with a whistling light, usually the transformer, anyway thought I'd check the current drawn on them. It was almost 2 amps per light, a quick trip to the local caravan breakers for some 1990 lights at £4.00, I then took the inverter board out(small circuit board), fitted that into the original 1968 lights and hey presto a current draw of 500mA, so I now have quite lights and can run the battery for longer without needing to charge it.
