Does it have a Sturmey as they are normaly date stamped? Has it been repainted? Does it have any manufacturing marks? Is the saddle original and what make is it? _________________ 1928 Talbot 14/45

I have not seen the cycle in the flesh, only the photo like you.
Obviously upon close inspection a name might appear, the three speed could be date stamped, the seat if original might give a clue?
What about the crank, i have tried to match it against popular makes, but no luck, similar to a sunbeam i have but not quite.
I thought the mudguards might give everyone a clue,I think it is certainly british?

Hi
I can't see a gear change lever unlessit is on the crossbar and hidden by the RH handlebar grip.
What it does have is threaded chain tensioners which pull the wheel backwards in rear facing slots rather than the frontfacing slots which my Hercules and Holdsworth had. _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.
