Delightful Austin 7 Ulster (?) seen in a small display of classics at the Tenbury Applefest yesterday. I'm not sure if was the real thing or a replica, but the aluminium welding of the bodywork was of a very high standard. I want one
And one for you, Buzzy, massive Massey Ferguson 1150 with Perkins V8 engine; the other end of the scale from the little grey Fergie

Out 'n about today, spotted a lovely black Rover P4, not the Cyclops type but the model just after that. Waved and got the thumbs up from the driver (I was in my new black Austin A35 ) _________________ 1957 A35 4 door

Nice A7 there alfanut, it hasn't got the dropped front axle of an Ulster (or EA Special to be precise) so may well be a replica - looks like fun!
Today we spotted a tidy A7 Ruby driving through Nantwich, and yesterday spied a Vitesse saloon driving in Newcastle Under Lyme. Riley RM spotted in the supermarket car park a couple of days back too.

Saw a two-seater Veteran car come chugging past our house yesterday - registration SS 41. I looked it up on the ASKMID website and it was a 1903 Humberette Tourer _________________ 1957 A35 4 door

I was just fetching daughter over for the evening and what came by the other way but what looked remarkably like the Rover Gas Turbine powered car JET 1, but with the number JET 678 or possibly 698
I assume it was a copy rather than the real thing, wasn't only the one prototype made; but I wonder if anyone knows what it really is and more intriguingly why it should be out in suburban Birmingham on a wet November afternoon?

mmmm did Jools Holland (or someone else off the TV) build a replica(ish) of JET 1? at least to look at. I'm sure I read or heard something about one recently...?

Hi
I wonder if that is the only one.
There was one running around the Patchway, Bristol area during the mid to late '60s.
It could of course be the same one which has been re-engined since then. _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.

Thanks Rick and Peter for your replies. Yes, it was the one in your link Peter
Dirty Habit, I saw it on Beacon Road just below Barr Beacon, so it looks as if it is a local North Birmingham car. It would be nice to think that it is someone's daily driver

Not too far from home
Called over to buy some new Slave cylinders, £20 less than my mate could get them through the Ford side valve club, AND still got the old ones
These are parked outside his workshop.
Not seen one of these for years, last one I saw was as a police bike
This is to be mot'd for a customer.
A total of five A35's
Another Austin under wraps, well almost
Forgot to ask what this was from, but it is big
