I confess - yes I did end up with it, and research suggests it's a Tri-ang. I've found photos of a Tri-ang No.6, which is all but identical but has an outside exhaust. This one has never had one, so either it is a little later than the others I've seen, or else they did a basic version, and a de-luxe with more bolt-on goodies.

Prior to being given the full oily rag treatment in September, the pedal car was thoroughly test-driven by our in-house Stig.

I think that style of wheel was virtually a Triang Trade Mark Rick.

These were taken in the late 40's early 50's in Margate, or Ramsgate.

I started at an early age

Agree with the Tri-Ang wheels.

Here is mine in 1955 ish. Wasn't I sweet? Embarassed

The Reg no was LBL 4242 for Lines Bros Ltd.

Just checked the DVLA database and it doesn't exist any more so it must have been scrapped Wink

Love the concentration in the first pic - a World champion in the making.

Did the rear-end shunt hurt that appears to be about to happen in the second pic?

Any time you want to put one of my forum pics on the main site, you don't need to ask.
