I have just done a repair actually on a boat but thought you might like to know this method found on the tin of fibreglass filler, although I'm probably the only one that didn't know it.
Instead of spreading the fibreglass filler onto the hole, spread it onto some plastis sheet, then put the plastic sheet onto the repair, rub smooth, wait until set and peel the plastic off. |

Not heard that one before, but when you think about it it must leave a nearly finished finish.
Will use that idea next time I'm working on my Model Boats |
