I'm trying to help someone who is looking for dating information on Raydot tax disc holders. Specifically, earlier holders like the one of the left have a bayonet fitting for securing the back plate, whereas later designs simply had a push on cover like that on the right. Please ignore the SS Cars badges. These holders were sold with and without various car identities.

If anyone has perhaps Brown Brothers or other accessory catalogues from the 1930s and 1940s could you possibly relate the publication dates to the types of holders shown?

Any information from other sources would, of course,be very welcome too.

Thanks,

Peter
