Hi this is my triumph mayflower. I bought this not so long ago. Not a bad little project to get my teeth into. let the restoration begin Smile

This was my last project which i know is not really a classic but still was a really good project. I used to drive a limo professionaly and i see this and had to resore it. It was purely a bit of fun as i put a manual gearbox in it.

Looking forward to following progress with this one, how did you manage to find it?

there is a crash repair garage near me which always has a couple or classic cars and this was one of 2. I have been talking to him alot over the last 2 years trying to persuade him to part with both or at least one. We finally come to an argrement and i bought one. He is doing a a35 pickup up and he also has two early morris oxfords the bubble shape which he is storing for a friend but will be for sale at one point.

It came with loads of spares which was handy. Not far off a complete spares car which im trying to get rid of rather than them sit in my barn rusting away. But not many people have these but never mind.

Lets hope the work goes to plan. Ill update more pictures as i strip her.

So what's the plan of attack for the Triumph - get it running first? I think I've a factory manual for the Mayflower somewhere about here, so if you need any info from it just shout - and I'll see if I can find it Smile.
