I have been sent this:
'Please find attached information and entry forms for this year’s rally, which this year incorporates a special ‘It’s a Knockout event’ which will be held in a separate ring. As usual there will be a Hog Roast , Beer tent, Bar-B-Q and Craft and Farmers market, as well as a few games for children to play, and other attractions.
We do not charge exhibitors to exhibit their vehicles, and indeed exhibitors plus 1 passenger are admitted free of charge, and entitled to free tea and coffee all day.
The ‘It’s a Knockout event’ has been included in the rally following a request from a group of lads from the neighbouring village of Stanningfield who approached us recently as they wanted to participate in something to raise money in honour of their friend Lance Corporal Adam Drane who tragically became the 100th victim of the Afghan conflict just before Christmas.
The lads will raise money through sponsorship and collections held on the day for their cause ‘ The Adam Drane memorial fund’ which has been set up by Fulchers, Funeral service in Bury St Edmunds, who have donated a cup dedicated to Adams memory which will be awarded to the winning team. We hope that this will become a regular feature of our annual rally and already more than 30 people have signed up to participate, and more are due to sign up for the 90 minute event.
There are lots of other things in the pipeline too to make this a really entertaining and fun rally, we hope your members can make it.
If you would like further information please give me a call: Tel:07771993184
Regards
Peter Royce' _________________ Richard Hughes |
