Hi folks
Wonder if you can help clear some confusion. I've just purchased a delightful Westminster, but the excellent handbook suggests that all grease points should be filled with 140W oil, whereas other have said that actual grease should be used. As I already have a 2CV, I have a grease gun loaded with grease but what should I be using on the Westy?
Welcome to the site Ian. Let's see some pictures then!
I am not sure about Westminsters, but most BMC cars of the time used grease in the nipples. My A35's certainly do. _________________ 1952 Austin A90 Atlantic

The Talbot does not like grease being used so I mix some EP90 with grease and that seems to work OK. The Morris likes it too. With the thinner lube the chassis etc should be looked at every 500 miles. _________________ 1936 Morris 8 Series 1
