Anyone heading down to the Lodge near South Woodham Ferrers, Essex on Thursday 25th February for the Chemer Valley Meet? We meet from 8pm on the last Thursday of the month, it is a free and informal meeting for lovers of all classic vehicles in Essex and surrounding areas.
I am going to start going there regularly, and should be able to update this thread with pictures monthly
There should also be a regular contingent of A30/A35's from the 25th as well
I hope to see you there.
Richard

Thanks for that Richard
Only half hour away
I'll pass it on to my mate, the one helping me with my restoration.
He has a Ford Pop, I'll also keep it in mind when my car is on the road.
Is it a club or just something that has grown over the years.
Got a Cousin in Southend, Woodgrange Drive, so pass through Battlebridge |

Hi Roger,
It's just an informal meeting of local classics. There are several clubs that meet there, the Sunbeam Alpine Club, Imp Club and the A30/35 Club. But everyone is welcome. Last time I went there were cars ranging from American Cadillacs and Ford Thunderbirds, Jaguar E Types and MGB's, to Morris Minors, Hillman Imps, a Ford Corsair, A35 and a Commer Campervan.
It would be good to see you there. I'm about 10 minutes from Woodgrange Drive by the way If you are there I'm going to be in the shabby black four-door A35 in my avatar, so by all means come over for a chat!
Thanks, Richard. _________________ Richard Hughes |

Some pictures from last night's meet. It was great to meet Roger-hatchy at last, sadly without the DLM as the new cylinder head hadn't arrived yet.
At this point my digital camera went flat and I had to use my phone, sorry for the quality

Nice to meet you as well Richard.
A day late but the DLM is now running, hopefully for longer than the last two trials.
Rob has loaned me a standard head for a week or two
All being well I'll try and make it for Monday, not too far for me either.
I need to run up a few test miles localy before going to Woodhall Spa next weekend. 125 miles to the hotel.
Will need some goggle first though |

Hope to be going to the Chelmer valley meet with the DLM next Thursday.
Anyone else showing up.
Richard H will you be able to get time off.
Should be an even better turn out being later in the year, and IF the weather stays like this.
