best news for a long time - after all the modifications after the one and only crash in Paris, it seems a shame that they were retired!
Although they are noisey! and not very fuel efficient, I think thay are a real Icon of transport development, and I miss them. _________________ Saluton. mi estas fervojistino, kaj vi?

I was lucky enough to see Concorde at an airshow when I was a youngster - it did a fly-by and then fired up the afterburners: It was quite possibly the single most impressive noise I've ever heard - perhaps even more impressive than the Vulcan fly-past at the same show.
Noisy... inefficient... who cares, when it's got ALL the awesome: Isn't that what most of y'all love about the classic cars, after all?
If they don't get 'em flying again, then there's something else I can cross off the "Things To Do Before I Die" list...
