What do you think? As much as I like original GG's, this one had been left to rot since 2002 and most of the wooden rear body was rotton. The owner is turning it into a classic racing car transporter to carry an Austin-Healey to historic race meetings. It'll be interesting to see how it progresses.

Reading the thread he seems tempted to go for a flat back type transporter which although interesting wouldn't look too different from every breakdown or scrap yard flat back you see on the roads everyday, even in single car form it would look good done in the style of the Ecurie Ecosse transporter with the car elevated over the storage area. |

I remember at Santa Pod in the late sixties some one used an ex GPO telephones Karrier with crew cab to transport his racer. |
