I have one but it is from a 1938 Motor Trader publication. It also shows the Alvis 4.3 wiring diagram. Problem is neither show the wiring colours. I would like to get a copy showing wire colours. I would attach the image I have but when I click Image it just puts [[/img] in.

My Speed 25 has had the wiring removed - restorer removed but got too ill to fit new loom. Routing diagram would also be appreciated.

You could use this a your guide. It contains all of the standard Lucas colour codes.

Thanks to all for their replies. Unfortunately it seems the pre-war colours were not standardised, and the Alvis wiring diagram did not stipulate colours. This is disappointing as my 1938 SS Jaguar wiring diagram does show colours.
The BS-AU7 standard only came in in 1963, so far as I can determine.
Sadly the maker of the new loom for the car has not used standard colours nor conformed with the Standard.

Lucas had their wiring standard in the 1930's - Rover used it. Some of the colours but not all went through to the BS standard
