Well spotted.
My Yoko is the A40, but no doubt they call the bus Yoko as well.
Only other YKO I know is 941YKO, so I thought I needed to take that photo. I doubt if all three will ever be in the same place at the same time.

From the photos I can see there was a malta bus at that event as well, looks like an AEC from here although I am no expert.
The old buses will be all or almost all scrapped by June/July of this year, Arriva is taking over with all new (bland and boring) buses!! |

Yep, quite luxurious compared to the Albion I took a ride in. The Malteese one was turbocharged and put on quite a sprint around the grounds. _________________ Keef - Sheerness Kent UK

Yes most have turbo diesels fitted, thats the trend over here, even in private cars, in the past it was the bmc diesel, nowadays, or till a couple of years ago it was the toyota diesel engines that got the treatment and were fitted in anything, from ladas, to small peugouts, even in mark 1 escorts or hillman hunters which were still on the road and used as bangers in the 90s!!
Unfortunately we've lost most of these cars now, many have been scrapped and the ones which have not are heading towards UK lately. |
