Hello,
I have a few nice chrome wing mirrors but the glass has either cracked or broken on some of them.
I went to see my local glass merchant but he informed me the mirror glass they stock is flat, not the curved type that is needed for wing mirrors.
Does anybody know of a supplier who could cut some pieces from my templates, or anywhere I could buy some glass and then get it cut and ground locally.

Hi Gresham,
You should not use plain house mirror glass in automobile applications. Automobile glass and mirrors should be to an 'E ' standard and 'CE' marked. This is a standard designed to provide for pedestrian safety.

Hi
Halfords do stickon mirrors to replace broken glass on moderns.
Some of these should be larger than you require, if not actually correct size and shape, so maybe a glazier could cut some of those to match. _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.
I think I stated that ordinary mirror glass was not suitable for my wing mirrors, that is why I was asking for a supplier of the right type of curved glass that I require, even if it means cutting it down to size.
