Yesterday I took the

To Chipping Steam Fair, I saw lots of these

And these, note the mud

and this was the bus into Chipping village, note the 'hard standing'

I loved this

Would have taken this home with me

Or this

If you got stuck.....

This was required to pull out

Or this to push out!

This was nice

It was either a Steamer or he carried his own still

And this is what would have been handy to get about

As we had to go over a railway sleeper bridge to get into this paddock, which was more a raft of grass than a field!

But as every year, Chipping has something for everyone, the sun even shone for about 1hr.

Lovely steam stuff. Looks like the military guys had a good time.

Thanks for posting.

great pics we will post some later as we have just spent 4 days at Strumpshaw Steam Rally - the only difference was that we had tractors spraying water to damp down the dust as it was that dry. one track had about an inch's if it so we had steam and dust clouds Very Happy

Hi

I see the Atkinsons were there, mr Metcalfes Clayton and the Dibnah collection was there too.

Looked a good do!

Cheers
