Welcome Andrew

Last year at a couple of my shows I took these pictures of what I seem to recall was called a either a "Motent" or a "Motul", but I can't remember which was which. I would think the green canvas topped one was the "Motent"

Are either of these what your father in law is seeking. I have contact details for the owners if either is the right make.

Andrew

Small World

I run the Weald Park Show at Brentwood, which is where I took the photos. Will you and you father in law be there this year?

I won't let on about the website if you are. But it was a new make to me and I don't have any further information.

Steve Pepper of Harrogate runs the register for all types of microcaravans.
He probably has some info on both the Mini Motel and Motent
his email is:

The Mini-Motel is the fore-runner of the Portafold.
Try this website:
Portafold.co.uk (The home of the Portafold, Ansfold and Mini-Motel folding caravan....).

Buttons, could you ask your father-in-law to be to contact me? My email address can be found on the 'contact us' page on my website www.portafold.co.uk

With regard to your original query, I do have some information on the Mini-Motels that may be of use to you.

Regards

Matthew
