Yes I thought this was a great event. Sorry I didn't know you were going to be there Richard - it would have been good to put a face to a name.

As well as all the classic vehicles on display there was some classic public transport in operation !

Here are a further selection of the vehicles on display. Does anyone know what the shield shaped glass / perspecx object on the bonnet of the Beetle is ?

Fab photos, my guess is the thing on the Beetle's bonnet is a bug deflector?? I'm sure someone will know for sure..

That is definitely what it looks like, but we used to fit them on/or near the mascots at the front of the bonnet. so i don't think it will be as effective on a Bug Laughing

We too were there. Very Happy
If you had pointed your camera on a nice red Daimler V8 2.5ltr I would have been very happy. Wink
The train and coach trips were an added bonus to a great day out near the seaside. Cool
Did anyone spot the vintage caravan on the farm site near Weybourne station. Question
We made a detour on the way home and discovered it was a couple from our local vintage car club, away for a few days with there Eccles and MG Magnette.
See you next year. Very Happy
