Gents,
Arrived home sunday in the E (after SS Classic Wkd) and as usual I flicked the bonnet and gave it a quick once over.
I noticed in the manold a stud was missing it had dropped through, and there is very little thread is in the manifold.
Bar changing that manifold what else can I do to get some thread in the manifold
Suggestions welcome, I would prefere to keep the original part on the car _________________ Car-Nut

I will have a listen tonight.
That is in a Aluinium head I think.
The manifold is cast iron, will it take the helicoil ok

It will Helicoil if there is enough casting to take a larger hole - alternatively retap for a larger stepped or parallel stud _________________ Rover P2
