Well this is mine, In chronological order...
If you dont know yet, its a 109" IIA 1-Ton, chassis number 13, and the oldest known one ton. I rescued it from a farm in early 2005 .It began its life with Southern Electricity Board in Portsmouth in early summer 1969 and I am restoring it to its "in service" condition and specification, as far as possible.

As first seen:

Then after a few days when I had it...

With hardtop

With original roof panel (with air vent) undergoing repainting

And basically as it is now...

The vehicle is fitted with the in-line six cylinder Rover petrol engine, driving a lower geared gearbox shared with the IIB Forward Control Landrover. Axles are by ENV, and are much stronger than the Rover axles, or even the later Salisbury ones. The winch is hydraulic and driven via a PTO on the back of the gearbox. Tyres are 900x16 (very hard to find now) on extra offset 6.5" wide steel rims.

Hi, your landrover is looking good, must get one some day.
9.00x16 tyres can be got from Vintage tyres although they are around £180 each.

Yes, but they are a modern NATO pattern tyre, well I say modern, more modern than the vehicle I think.
I did ask about getting Avon or Dunlop 900x16s remanufactured but was told the moulds no longer existed.
